Welcome to Kimnara, an independent label presenting new music by Australian improvisers, set up in 2005 by Simon Barker.

Kimnara CDs feature artwork and design by Sydney based artist, Fusae Ikeda. Fusae also created the two piece, origami paper packaging used for our first two releases, Showa 44 and Band Of Five Names.
